Notice of Dues Increase

On April 18, 2022, the Florida Association of Code Enforcement Board of Directors had a budget meeting. The Board reviewed the budget for the upcoming year. Unfortunately, expenses have risen to outpace current incoming dues. For this reason, the Board has voted to raise membership dues from $50.00 to $75.00 to offset rising costs.

Some of the reasons driving the costs are adding new services and website software. We are currently moving to a new online website platform, learning management system, and membership database management system that will track our Certification and Recertification status and trainings while giving each Member the opportunity to have more control over their training portfolios. The Board of Directors has also entered into a more expanded agreement with PTI for timely curriculum updates and testing upgrades and exploring additional options (online testing) for the future.

The Board of Directors have not had an in-person meeting in 2 years, trying to save funds. The Association has been without revenue from training for almost one ½ years mostly due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. At the end of the day, this was a necessary step to correct our current deficiencies and provide the members of the Association with necessary resources to grow.

Beginning October 1, 2022, FACE dues will be:

Active Member: $75.00

Associate Member: $65.00

Retired Members: $10.00

Past President: $0

An initial dues notice will be sent out July 1, 2022; while individuals and agencies are welcome to pay the new fees prior to October 1, 2022, early dues payments (those made in July, August, or September 2022) will need to reflect the dues increase described above.
