Over the past year, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced many changes to the way that we live and work. Code enforcement officers and support staff have risen to the challenge, finding new ways to provide compassionate, socially distanced customer service to our citizens while still enforcing the codes that protect the health, safety and welfare of our communities. Code Enforcement Officers' Appreciation Week provides an opportunity for us to recognize the officers and staff who are working tirelessly in these unprecedented times.
Code Enforcement Officers' Appreciation Week is June 7 - 11, 2021. Below is a sample Proclamation recognizing the work that code enforcement performs. We urge you to copy/print the information and create a document for signature by the Board or Mayor of your jurisdiction recognizing the code enforcement officers and support staff in your community. This year, more than ever, these individuals deserve recognition of their efforts, their adaptability and their resilience.
