The Town's Administrative Code/policy is to reduce liens to $5000 or 25% of the current property value/appraisal, whichever is the least amount. Hello Everyone,
Our county has a code violation specific to one subdivision within the county that only allows a person to camp (in a tent, motor home, or other temporary residence) on their property a total of seven days per calendar year. They can apply for a residential development order to extend this timeframe while building their permanent dwelling.
We have a few cases reporting some people are violating this ordnance and living on their property in an RV, tent, shed, etc.... Details

We currently have four special magistrates. All of ours are volunteers and rotate each month.

We work with the Police Department. We ask patrol officers to go by the property, as time permits to verify if someone is living in an RV. We can use the officer's body camera footage and they can testify at a Special Magistrate hearing just as we can.
