Hurricane Ian

Fellow Code Officers,

The F.A.C.E. Board of Directors offer their thoughts and prayers to the communities that have been affected by Hurricane Ian.  The dedicated code officers in southwest Florida are dealing with the most destructive hurricane in Florida since Hurricane Andrew and continue to do their jobs assisting in damage assessment and providing relief to their residents.  I am sure that there are code officers that have had their homes damaged and have been unable to meet the needs of their own family during these trying times.  If you would wish to help, reach out to those municipalities and counties and see if you could help by working one day to give relief to those code officers so that they can attend to their families.  I am sure those code officers would greatly appreciate your help in these trying times.

Sincerely,

Steve Shifley, President
Florida Association of Code Enforcement
