As many of you are aware, we fell just short of a quorum at our annual meeting and were unable to hold elections. The board is now tasked with choosing from a  list of very qualified candidates to fill vacancy(ies) on your board. A new board member(s) will be chosen at our board meeting on May 8th, and all who expressed interest will be notified the following week. I will call all those who expressed interest with the results of the board's choice the week of May 11th. Thanks again to all those who expressed interest on serving on the board of directors. It is nice to see so much interest and enthusiasm. It is very motivating for me, as a board member, to know so many want to be part of the continued success of your chapter's board!

Lastly , I have been contacted by a few of you who may be short CEUs for your certification. Keep in mind, the best way to achieve your CEUs is to regularly attend training sessions provided by your chapter or to attend The F.A.C.E. Conference in June. Your chapter plans on providing at least 2 training opportunities, including this one, totaling 4 CEUs between now and October 1st. If you are in the position where you may need more credits, you can contact me at the number below and I may be able to help.

See you on May 14th!

Joe Petrick
