The Florida Association of Code Enforcement (F.A.C.E.) Board of Directors invites YOU to be a part of the 31st Annual F.A.C.E. Virtual Conference “With 20/20 Vision Comes Wisdom”. Please visit the Conference Home Page for details and registration information.
Due to the current health crisis, your Board of Directors made the difficult decision to cancel the "in person" 2020 Annual Conference and look for alternative ways to deliver educational material to you. With a lot of planning and hard work, the Board and the Program Committee were able to develop a fantastic "virtual" conference!
Our conference will include the annual meeting and continuing educational classes in an online format. Some of the course will be in a live format to allow interaction between our membership and instructors as well as prerecorded classes available to be taken throughout the month. This will allow our membership ample time to obtain their required continuing education hours while still performing their essential job functions. Deadlines for obtaining continuing education hours have been extended as follows:
Late recertification continuing education hours for the January 2020 recertification period will be extended until December 31, 2020. As they were already late, the late recertification fee will apply.
The July 2020 recertification period continuing education requirements will be extended until June 30, 2021 without late recertification fees.
The January 2021 recertification period circumstances will be reviewed by November 30, 2020
All of this was accomplished with registration fees that will provide a significant cost savings to you and your municipality for your full continuing education hours.
The Legislative Scholarship is still open for the chapter which makes the most contacts to legislators between now and July 15, 2020. Please visit http://face-online.org/conference/scholarship-info/ for more information.
