Code Enforcement Officers’ Appreciation Week

Code Enforcement Officers' Appreciation Week is June 4 - 8, 2018.  F.A.C.E. would like to say a special THANK YOU to all of the dedicated officers and support staff that work every day to make their communities a safer and happier place!

We encourage local jurisdictions to take this opportunity to recognize and celebrate the officers and support staff that provide for the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of your community.   These individuals bring positive change through the enforcement of building, zoning, housing, animal control, fire safety, environmental and other codes and ordinances.  Code Enforcement Officers are dedicated, well trained, and highly responsible individuals who take their jobs seriously and are proud of their department and the local government within which they serve.

Attached is a sample Proclamation recognizing the work that code enforcement performs. Copy/Print the information to create a resolution for signature by your jurisdiction during your next public meeting.   This gives recognition to those whose efforts often go unnoticed.

Another way to celebrate is to do something special for your officers and support staff.   A simple office breakfast or lunch or a personal message of thanks are all welcome acknowledgements of a job well done.

Thank you all for your service to the community, for your support of F.A.C.E. and your support of each other!
