NEXT SWACE Training
The SWACE Board of Directors have met and agreed it is in the best interest of our membership to not have any face-to-face training until further notice due to COVID-19. In an effort to continue with our mission to provide training to our members, we are providing links to free online training courses to keep the members current in their needed continuing education hours with FACE. In case you are not aware, there is free on-line training available through the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) Emergency Management Institute (EMI) Independent Study (IS) program. There are over 200 free training courses available at no cost. Please review the list of Approved FEMA Courses to select an option for you. Once the courses are completed, and the certificate of completion is printed, please submit the certificate along with the Online Training Affidavit, to Susan Pruchnicki at UCF. For more information on continuing education, please visit our education webpage at http://face-online.org/education.
The SWACE Training meetings are held in Fort Myers on the second Wednesday of odd numbered months at 10:00 AM to Noon. ALL ARE INVITED!
SWACE represents agencies from Charlotte County, Collier County, Desoto County, Glades County, Hendry County, Highlands County, Lee County, and Incorporated Areas. However, EVERYONE is welcome!
